Research question: How do unbalanced forces affect motion?
Sub research question: How would force effect acceleration?
Sub Independent variable: force gravity
Sub dependent variable: acceleration
Procedure: We will change the force in order to measure acceleration. The mass would be constant because that effects acceleration. We would do this by having a cart attached to a pulley system in which we start with mass on the cart and each trial we take a weight off the cart and add it to the bottom of the pulley so we see the difference in force while keeping total mass constant.

Sub independent variable: mass
Sub dependent variable: acceleration
Procedure: we started this lad be having a cart on a non frictional ramp with a pulley on the end that had many weights on it. We proceded to take individual weights of the pulley and place them on to the car . We continued the process each time measuring the velocity of the cart as if moved. We recorded the acceleration of each trial and that was ur raw data.
